HEARTLIGHT

| SUMMARY |

HEARTLIGHT is a game about exploration. In a world where all the is left outsides the confides of home is ever changing dungeons run by cute but dangerous monsters life is dictated primarily by a group known as the Salvage Guild. As a member of said guild you are responsible for leaving safety and bringing resources back. Use those resources to sell, craft, gain power and venture further into the labyrinth.

| GAMEPLAY |

Gameplay focuses on exploring, finding goodies and building a character your way (hopefully someday with friends).  Play starts in a settlement, in this case Lakeshore, where you can pick up quests, new gear and prepare for your time outside its walls. Once you depart you will bring with you supplies for 3 nights.  As you battle your way through the pseudo random dungeon you will collect new resources and equipment. Each night you will make camp and use these resources to craft or sell for cash to level up your characters stats. If you are skilled enough to navigate to a new settlement before you run out of camp supplies it will open up new routes, crafting recipes and equipment. 

| STATUS |

I have been working on HEARTLIGHT for quite some time but I am a solo developer so things tend to move slowly. That being said the game is currently at a point where many of the key features are in and simply need to be refined and content needs to be created. But what can you still expect in the future? 

• Better optimization and load times.
• More diverse levels so each level play through feels unique.
• Additional and varying quests that give you unique rewards.
• More/better crafting recipes
• More/better spells
• Improved user interface 
• Better character customization with multiple playable characters as well as unique outfits.
• Multiplayer of some sort *nervous laughter*.
•  ... actual art assets; including better animations.
